Doc's Favorite Cat (& Dog) Product Page

December 17, 2005

As some of you may know (or have guessed) I'm a certifiable Cat Nut! Right now I have 4 indoor kitties, and help care for (neuter, shelter & feed) a feral colony outside my home.

Over the years I've found some really special products that work for me. I'd like to share them with you.  Those who make or sell these products have nothing to do with this page. I ask for/ get no freebies, and I don't take requests for listings. (Of course, I'm sure there's lots of good products/ sites out there I haven't discovered, but these are the ones I have.)

Enjoy, Dr. Irene

Antiicky-Poo by Mister Max. This stuff really gets the urine stink out like nothing I've ever used before. I recommend the "starter kit" with the injector for anywhere pet urine has permeated (like carpet with backing).

Liv-a-Littles by Halo. My cats DIE for these, especially the chicken flavor.  Vicky's site sells them at a great price compared with elsewhere. Not the fastest delivery, but a lovely woman to deal with.

Stunning, durable, & well-priced Swarovski crystal pet collars. I've not come across a more beautiful, let alone comparably priced product anywhere. Peggy makes them and sells them from her Ebay store.

Cat Shelter/ Igloo from IndyFeral. This is a well-priced and durable shelter for outdoor kitties sold by a wonderful feral kitty rescue organization.

Want to adopt a kitty? Check out Audrey, the lady I got my little Tuffy from (my favorite kitty), and who introduced me to feral cats. She catches them, neuters them, tames them, and - if she can bear it - adopts them out. She's in Florida these days, but will work with you. Lots of good info too.

Ally Cat Allies, a feral cat rescue organization. They do lots for ferals, and are rated highly by outside sources in terms of how contributions are spent.
