I just read what you wrote in reply to another post:
"I joined about a month ago. I haven't posted accept my story. I don't really know how to navigate the website yet. I just wanted to write down what my husband did to me last week. We were on a plane ride home for 3 hours. When we got home I wasn't hungry at dinner time because of eating junk food on the plane. At 10 o'clock at night I got hungry. I microwaved a pot pie. My husband got mad, punched me in the stomache 3 times, not really hard enough to hurt, he calls it getting my attention, then smashed the pot pie in my lap."
This is not good. I don't care what HE calls it, it is physical abuse/domestic violence. Please contact your local womens shelter and talk to someone there.
As for posting here, just look above all the topics in the CatBox and you'll see a dark blue button on the right side that says Start New Topic. Click that and you'll have a box to write in. When you're done, click the box at the bottom that says Post New Topic. Please do this and let us know what's going on. We're here to help.

Absolutely right! Nobody deserves to get hit, especially for doing nothing more than heating up a pie because they're hungry!
In case it isn't clear to everyone, Terry did post her story six weeks ago in the My Story section. Here's a link to it:

Terry, while that is the right place for it, you may have gathered by now that this section, "THE Catbox," gets the most attention and more replies from most posters.
One other thing. For your own safety and privacy, it's usually advisable not to post here under your real name, especially when you're still living with an abusive spouse. If you'd like to change your user name to something more anonymous, you only have to send a PM to one of the Admins. They can help you out with a change of username without having to redo your existing posts.
And welcome to the Catbox! I'm sorry you've been stuck in such nasty situations all of your life, but you can get the help and support you need here.
