I've been talking more about things that I didn't think were abusive, but people are telling me that yes, they are. I guess 'normal' isn't 'normal' afterall. I have some learning to do.

I think there's a bit of frog-in-the-pot syndrome. If you saw the things that are happening to you happen to someone else, what would you think of it?

Has anyone found that, over time, the puzzle pieces all start falling together? I used to think I was the crazy one. That I couldn't have been treated *that* poorly.

Talked to my D15's volleyball coach yesterday. He had to force my Ex out of her role as a chaperone on the team because she was making the girls on the team uncomfortable! Yikes!

Even though I'm still "in", I have more and more experiences like the one you're describing. After a while, their insanity makes itself known to others. And thank goodness for that!

If HE is abusing you, how is it your fault? I did this to myself too. He blamed, I blamed me......It was endless until I finally left him after 2 years of his abuse in a varieties! I have an illness and he could have cared less about that . He wouldn't let me sleep or even eat unless I had his permission. All he wanted to do was fight constantly, I just could NOT do it anymore. I am away from him now for 4 months, its difficult but much more peaceful for me. I hope you get out while y...
